With over 35 years of guitar experience, I bring a rich and diverse musical background to every lesson. I graduated with honors from the College of Marin in California, where I studied guitar, voice, and piano, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. 

For more than 20 years, I’ve studied under a variety of accomplished guitarists, receiving focused training in classical, fingerstyle, rock, folk, blues, and jazz. I offer guitar instruction for students of all ages and levels, providing tailored acoustic and electric guitar lessons that align with each student’s goals and musical interests. 

I have received specialized training to teach the Suzuki Method for Guitar and am a Registered Teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. This training has equipped me with engaging and effective methods to keep kids excited about learning music. I firmly believe that Suzuki Method guitar is the best approach for young students, as it helps them build strong practice habits, teaches listening and discipline, and inspires a lifelong love of music. 

Now entering my seventh year teaching at The Village School Performing Arts Center, I’ve had the joy of introducing children as young as five to the world of classical guitar while also guiding older students through styles like pop, folk, and country. 

My teaching style blends structure with creativity, aiming to make every lesson meaningful, motivating, and fun. 

Since 2002, I’ve been offering comprehensive and affordable private guitar lessons in Naples. My work is a passion, and it brings me joy to share this enthusiasm with my students. From day one, they learn important foundational techniques to boost their skills and self-esteem.
